It is just like our baby
Often smiling, always tender,
and even a little moody at times
our love is just like her, just like our baby girl!
Not because she is with us,
It was like this before she even arrived
It takes its time to come to life just like she did our little one.
And then when you hold her, there is not doubt,
she is just a piece of love rolled into a little girl.
Remember that, like here, our love was all around our lives
only moments after having her very first laugh.
Provably she heard what we said on that beach.
A wisper of love mixed with the sound of the waives
and that of your heart.
